About Me

I was born in Spokane but grew up primarily in Montana. I love being outside and my family and I are often hiking around a lake or up a mountain on nice weekends. We also enjoy geocaching, caring for our "zoo" of pets, and watching football on Sundays! With our bloodline originating in Pittsburgh we are Black & Yellow through and through! Go Steelers!

I worked at a local hospital as an RN for 8 years. For the last 3 of those years I worked on my Masters in Family Medicine. I am currently working in a privately owned family medicine clinic and have a wide variety of patient profiles, from 0-99. I have quite a bit of mental health management and enjoy helping patients find a happier being.

I have also enjoyed teaching Nursing at a local college and hope to be able to return to that rewarding career soon!

I attended Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington for my Bachelor's degree. Go Lutes! I graduated in 2005.

Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana is where I obtained my Master's in Family Medicine and completed this degree in 2012.

I am currently certified by the American Association for Nurse Practitioners (AANP) to practice Family Medicine.

I will be starting my Certification in Nutrition and Functional Medicine in the near future as well.
