About Me

I believe that effective counseling considers the whole person. That is, human beings are not just minds, bodies, or hearts but all of the above. As a therapist I strive to help clients find healing and growth by considering all of these parts of self and their relationship to one another. For those who are interested, I also incorporate spirituality into the counseling process. I specialize in integrating a Christian perspective with evidence-based treatment approaches. However, I hold respecting my client's diverse values and beliefs as paramount. I never "push" a particular religious perspective onto anyone.

Amy Taft, LPC works almost exclusively with adult individuals. She has helped many men and women overcome their struggles with Post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, addiction, childhood abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse, relationship problems and grief.
