I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Arizona. My primary focus is on integrative psychotherapy, which offers a more holistic approach to behavioral health that encompasses the 7 core areas of health: physical activity, emotional/spiritual health, mind-body connection, nutrition, sleep, relationships and communication, and physical environment. Various therapeutic modalities are used to affect change in each of these areas. As partners on this journey we will explore your 7 core areas of health to help guide you toward a more balanced and healthy life even in the midst of challenges.
I have 10 plus years of experience in the behavioral health and medical social work field. I have worked in various settings including hospitals and non-profit organizations and outpatient clinics. However, I find the work I do in psychotherapy with clients to be the most rewarding and fulfilling.
I hold a B.S. in Psychology from Vanderbilt University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University, Mandel School of Appied Social Sciences. I am trained in EMDR, clinical hypnosis, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and also hold continuing education training in Integrative Health and Lifestyle Program from the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.
