About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) or psychotherapist in the great state of Texas. I have been living in El Paso since the summer of 1991. I was born and raised in a small town in Northern New York State. I moved to Texas one month after I graduated High School. I am proud to be a psychotherapist and proud daughter of an Army Veteran Retiree. I understand how difficult it can be to admit help is needed and to search for someone to talk to about difficult issues. I hold such admiration toward my clientele and strive to provide the best care available.

I have been working in the helping field since 2007. I began in private practice working with children, teens, and adults providing individual, family, and couples counseling. For almost five years I worked in an inpatient mental health and chemical dependency hospital in charge of the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit working with adults with Bipolar Disorder, Clinical Depression, severe Schizophrenia, and Schizo-Affective Disorder. I facilitated group as well as individual, family, and couples sessions. The work I am most proud of is as a Military and Family Life Counselor on Ft. Bliss. I had the privilege of working with Active Duty, National Guard, and Reservists. Although Ft. Bliss in an Army base, because of its diversity, I not only worked with Army personnel, I also worked with Air Force, Marines, and Naval personnel.

My education after High School consists of A.S. and B.S. in Social Psychology from Park University-Ft. Bliss Campus and my Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Webster University-Ft. Bliss Campus.
